Job summary

Valis remote Product Designer role spans desktop, mobile, and admin panels. Own end-to-end UX/UI for a B2B SaaS product, from onboarding to deployment, with hands-on AI tooling in daily design work.

You will map customer journeys for CEOs and admins, participate in client rollouts, build a design system from scratch and keep it in code, and own product communications and release notes. This role supports remote teams across Europe with real-time sessions during CET/BST hours.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product design for B2B SaaS products.
• Portfolio showing complex products made simple: data-heavy tools, admin and permission flows, desktop and mobile apps.
• Strong in both UX and UI: research, journey mapping, information architecture, and high-quality visual and interaction design.
• Built a design system from scratch and got engineers to adopt it.
• Onboarding and in-product communication with measurable impact.
• Hands-on with AI tools in daily work: prototype with Claude, Claude Code, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Map journeys for CEO/founder, client admin, end user, and deployment team; keep it current as product changes.
• Sit in on client rollouts and install sessions; translate observations into prioritized engineering problems.
• Define and track experience metrics with product and deployment teams.
• Design core surfaces end-to-end: desktop app, mobile app, and admin panel.
• Design onboarding: first install, data source connections, first useful answer.
• Write specs and prototypes for engineers and AI agents; review what ships and refine it.
• Build the Valis design system from scratch and keep it in the codebase for engineers and AI agents to use.
• Own product communications: in-app notifications, release notes, user guides, trainings; tailor messages for CEOs vs employees.
