Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks a Senior Principal Software Developer (AI Cybersecurity) to lead the design, development, deployment, and operation of enterprise-scale software and AI solutions in Huntington's Cybersecurity organization.

This individual will possess deep expertise across the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, security, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, AI agent development, and production operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in software development.
• 8+ years of production support and design of Cyber Security technologies.
• 8+ years of operational experience with security technologies.
• 8+ years of experience across the full SDLC.

Responsibilities

• AI Solution Development: design, build, and deploy AI/ML and generative AI apps for cybersecurity ops.
• Technical Leadership: mentor engineers, set standards, drive innovation.
• Security Integration: embed secure coding and data protection into pipelines.
• Cyber Use Case Enablement: develop threat detection, alert triage, risk scoring solutions.
• Automation & Agentic AI: implement automated agent workflows to reduce manual effort.
• Data & Analytics: build pipelines for logs and security data to yield insights.
• Cloud & Platform Engineering: deploy AI solutions in cloud-native environments (Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD).
• System Integration: integrate AI apps with SIEM/SOAR/IAM/data platforms.
• Governance & Compliance: align with AI governance and secure SDLC practices.
• Collaboration: work with engineering, cybersecurity, architecture, cloud, data, and governance teams.
