Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a senior Search Engine Marketing Manager to own strategy and performance across paid search, paid social, SEO and CRO. You will join sales calls, oversee internal and external specialists, and build performance roadmaps to ensure client campaigns deliver measurable outcomes.

This is a hybrid role with client-facing leadership, reporting, QA and continuous improvement. A strong blend of analytics and communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years in PPC, SEO or multi‑channel full‑funnel strategy.
• Experience running paid and organic channels simultaneously.
• Ability to build and articulate strategic client recommendations.
• Track record leading execution teams and ensuring deliverable quality.
• Sharp analytical skills and quick issue diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for all PPC and SEO clients across industries.
• Join sales calls to validate scope and pitch technical recommendations.
• Create 90 day, 6 month and yearly growth roadmaps for each client.
• Own client performance across Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft and SEO.
• Audit campaigns, bidding, landing pages and CRO opportunities.
• Oversee technical/on-page SEO, link building and AI‑driven content.
• Own KPI tracking, attribution and analytics accuracy.
• Provide weekly direction and coordinate priorities with the marketing PM.
• Present monthly/quarterly performance summaries to clients.
