Eliassen Group is seeking a senior technical writer to own policy documentation supporting the enterprise risk framework within the Canadian Wealth segment. You will develop and maintain policies, procedures, standards, and governance artifacts, partnering with risk, compliance, and operations teams to ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment with objectives.

You will drive consistency across templates, manage change control, and support audit readiness while enabling process improvement

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a policy and procedure documentation specialist or senior technical writer.
• Background supporting enterprise risk frameworks or governance, risk, and compliance functions.
• Strong knowledge of documentation standards, style guides, and information architecture.
• Experience working with stakeholders across risk, compliance, audit, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance policies, procedures, standards, work instructions, and governance documentation.
• Partner with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, risk and compliance teams, and operational leaders.
• Ensure documentation accuracy, compliance, usability, and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Drive consistency across documentation standards and templates.
• Support regulatory and audit readiness through controlled documentation.
• Enable operational excellence and process improvement initiatives through clear documentation.
• Manage version control, change history, and governance workflows.
• Facilitate reviews, approvals, and periodic updates with accountable owners.
• Create user‑friendly artifacts and taxonomies that improve discoverability.
• Measure effectiveness and adoption of documentation with defined metrics.
