Job summary

Sustainable Partners Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across the United States. The role is remote, with travel to project sites as required, and entails full lifecycle management from preconstruction to closeout.

You will oversee projects typically ranging from 50 MW to 300+ MW, coordinating internal teams and external contractors while ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant project management experience within utility-scale solar, BESS or renewable-energy construction.
• A successful record of delivering multimillion-dollar energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, budgets, scheduling and contract management.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and external contractors.
• Excellent commercial judgment, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to travel nationally according to project requirements.
• PMP, OSHA or equivalent industry qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe, timely and profitable delivery of utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders and commercial performance.
• Coordinate internal engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams.
• Oversee EPC contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and external consultants.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, utilities and other project stakeholders.
• Produce accurate progress, cost, schedule and performance reports.
• Ensure projects comply with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Support project handover, commissioning and final closeout.
