Job summary

Combined Selection Group Ltd is seeking an experienced project management and commissioning professional to support mission-critical data center power projects. The role involves installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of emergency power generation systems for major data center customers.

The ideal candidate will have field-environment experience, guiding projects from equipment delivery to final handover, with strong cross-functional coordination and travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management, commissioning, field service with generator systems.
• Associate degree or apprenticeship; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Electrical power, generator, or related technical experience is highly desirable.
• Field service experience with installation and testing of generator systems strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site generator installation, start-up, testing, and commissioning.
• Lead project schedules, resources, vendors, and field activities from execution to completion.
• Serve as primary contact for contractors, distributors, customers, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal engineering, service, and project teams.
• Develop commissioning documentation and project plans.
• Provide technical guidance related to emergency generator products and system applications.
• Work with contractors and distributors to ensure generator solutions are installed and commissioned effectively.
• Identify and resolve project challenges while escalating complex issues when appropriate.
• Provide clear and consistent project updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead cross-functional teams and drive accountability among stakeholders who may not be direct reports.
