Job summary

Recorded Future is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and run CI/CD pipelines, manage IaC with Terraform, and operate Kubernetes in a cloud environment (AWS preferred). You’ll optimize cloud infra, maintain GitHub workflows, and collaborate across teams to improve SDLC practices.

You will work in a fast-paced security threat intelligence environment, applying best practices for security, reliability, and performance, while growing with a cross-functional team of engineers and Futurists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in a platform engineering or similar role.
• Proficiency in Golang or Python for scripting and automation.
• Proven Terraform for IaC.
• Kubernetes expertise with ArgoCD. GitHub experience and AWS knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and organizational abilities.
• Solid networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized apps on Kubernetes.
• Support production Kubernetes clusters in AWS (preferred).
• Manage cloud infrastructure in AWS for scalable apps.
• Administer and optimize GitHub repositories and workflows.
• Collaborate with dev teams to enhance developer tools and SDLC processes.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues; implement security, reliability, performance best practices.
