Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Platform Engineer I to join our Platform Engineering and DevOps team. This remote, full-time role focuses on enabling secure, scalable public cloud adoption and streamlined software delivery across Azure IaaS and PaaS.

You will design and implement platform environments, develop automation, ensure security and compliance, and support CI/CD tooling while mentoring teammates. The position offers a competitive salary of $138,000–$143,000 per year on a W-2 basis along

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cloud platform, software, systems, or DevOps with hands-on across IaaS, PaaS, AI, and containers.
• Experience designing Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated platform provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Implement and design platform environments across Azure IaaS/PaaS.
• Deploy containerized platform services.
• Provision infrastructure with IaC.
• Develop reusable platform components and automation frameworks.
• Apply security controls and policy enforcement.
• Manage identity, access, and secrets.
• Enable automated guardrails for compliance.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Ensure fault-tolerant recovery with multi-region patterns.
• Monitor platform performance and optimize costs.
• Support CI/CD tooling and self-service templates.
• Contribute to APIs for infra and platform services.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate and share knowledge with the team.
