Job summary

QP Group's client is seeking a Remote Senior Piping Designer to support Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical manufacturing projects across the United States. The role is hands-on, focused on hygienic/sanitary process piping from design through construction.

You will develop 3D piping models using AutoCAD Plant 3D, produce isometrics, and coordinate with process, mechanical, and other disciplines, leveraging Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.

Qualifications

• Experience on Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
• Strong hygienic, sanitary or process piping experience.
• Experience with isometrics / ISOGEN.
• Ability to read P&IDs.
• GMP / FDA-regulated project experience is highly desirable.
• Navisworks and Bluebeam experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design hygienic & sanitary process piping for Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences facilities.
• Develop 3D piping models and layouts using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Produce and review piping isometrics and fabrication/construction drawings.
• Coordinate piping with process, mechanical, structural and other disciplines.
• Use Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection.
• Work closely with engineering, project management, fabrication and field teams.
• Review designs for constructability and provide technical guidance to other designers.
