Job summary

QP Group's client is seeking a Remote Senior Piping Designer to support Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical manufacturing projects across the United States. The role is hands-on, focused on hygienic/sanitary process piping from design through construction.

You will develop 3D piping models using AutoCAD Plant 3D, produce isometrics, and coordinate with process, mechanical, and other disciplines, leveraging Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.

Qualifications

• Experience on Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
• Strong hygienic, sanitary or process piping experience.
• Experience with isometrics / ISOGEN.
• Ability to read P&IDs.
• GMP / FDA-regulated project experience is highly desirable.
• Navisworks and Bluebeam experience preferred.

Responsibilities

QP groups client is looking for a Senior Piping Designer to join its team, working on major Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical manufacturing projects across the US.

This is a hands-on design role focused on hygienic/sanitary process piping, with responsibility for developing high-quality 3D designs through to construction.

• Design hygienic & sanitary process piping for Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences manufacturing facilities
• Develop 3D piping models and layouts using AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Produce and review piping isometrics and fabrication/construction drawings
• Coordinate piping with process, mechanical, structural and other disciplines
• Use Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection
• Work closely with engineering, project management, fabrication and field teams

What We're Looking For:

• Strong experience on Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities
• Proven hygienic, sanitary or process piping experience
• Experience with isometrics / ISOGEN

Candidates from Agri-Science / Agricultural manufacturing, Food & Beverage or other hygienic process industries will also be considered where they have strong sanitary/process piping experience.
