Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft PeopleTools Developer for a 100% remote role within the United States. You will own the architecture, upgrades, security configurations, and integration across PeopleSoft environments in collaboration with product, engineering, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration, strong Oracle DB and Linux skills, and experience with PUM, WebLogic, Tuxedo, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleTools upgrades and PUM.
• Strong experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, and PeopleSoft application/process scheduler servers.
• Experience administering Elasticsearch/OpenSearch for PeopleSoft.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Database administration.
• Strong Linux/Unix skills and shell scripting experience.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or equivalent automation tooling.
• Experience operating HA/DR for PeopleSoft.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, installation, configuration, upgrade, and operation of enterprise PeopleSoft environments.
• Lead PeopleTools upgrades and image applications, security configurations, and search server operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code and design reviews.
