Antylia Scientific is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role supports month-end close, multi-entity reporting, and consolidation across manufacturing units in a complex environment.

The candidate will navigate multiple ERP systems while delivering timely financial reporting to management and PE ownership. The ideal applicant has 5+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and experience with consolidations and intercompany

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple entities.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements.
• Support ERP integrations, intercompany eliminations, and equity ownership changes.
• Provide KPI dashboards and executive-level reporting for PE-backed operations.

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role will support accounting operations across multiple manufacturing business units operating in a complex, multi-entity environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, manufacturing accounting experience, and the ability to navigate multiple ERP systems while delivering accurate and timely financial reporting to management and private equity ownership. This position will play a critical role in month-end close, consolidations, financial reporting, ERP integrations, process improvement initiatives, and supporting strategic growth activities, including acquisitions and system conversions. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and have the ability to partner effectively with operations, finance leadership, and external stakeholders.

Financial Close & General Accounting

• Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for assigned entities.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial results and investigate significant variances from budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Support external audits, lender reporting, and tax compliance activities.

Multi-Entity Reporting & Consolidations

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reporting packages across multiple legal entities and business units.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
• Assist with ownership structure changes, acquisitions, divestitures, and entity integrations.
• Support monthly reporting requirements for private equity sponsors, lenders, and executive leadership.
• Participate in cash flow reporting, covenant compliance reporting, and board presentation support.

Manufacturing & Inventory Accounting

• Support accounting for inventory, standard costing, labor and overhead absorption, and manufacturing variances.
• Analyze inventory reserves, cycle count adjustments, and physical inventory results.
• Partner with plant operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost reporting.
• Review production and operational metrics to identify financial trends and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with implementation and enhancement of inventory controls and manufacturing accounting processes.

ERP Systems & Process Improvement

• Serve as a key accounting resource across our ERP platforms.
• Assist with ERP implementations, conversions, acquisitions, and system integrations.
• Reconcile data between ERP systems and reporting platforms to ensure data integrity.
• Partner with IT, operations, and finance teams to streamline processes and strengthen internal controls.

Private Equity & Executive Reporting

• Prepare monthly KPI dashboards, performance metrics, and executive reporting packages.
• Provide ad hoc analysis related to profitability, working capital, inventory performance, and operational efficiency.
• Assist leadership with financial analysis supporting acquisitions, integration activities, and strategic initiatives.
• Deliver concise financial insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

What You'll Bring That Excites Us:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, and data analysis.
• PreferredCPA or CPA candidate.
• Experience in a private equity-backed company.
• Experience with multiple ERP systems and ERP implementations.
• Consolidation and intercompany accounting experience.
• Exposure to acquisitions, integrations, and system migrations.
