Job summary

Thorne is seeking a Senior Packaging Production Designer to lead the mechanical development, production readiness, and ongoing maintenance of packaging artwork across our global product portfolio. This remote role partners with Creative, Quality, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Legal, and external vendors to ensure compliant, production-ready packaging.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in packaging production, expert Illustrator/InDesign/Acrobat/Photoshop skills, and a systems-driven approach to

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in packaging production, mechanical artwork, or related discipline.
Experience in regulated CPG packaging with complex review/approval processes.
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Photoshop.
Strong knowledge of dielines, typography, image resolution, bleeds, trapping, and print specs.
Experience coordinating with printers, converters, prepress houses, and packaging suppliers.

Responsibilities

Own packaging production artwork from concept through release across the portfolio.
Translate approved concepts into production-ready mechanical artwork for multiple formats and markets.
Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Operations, and external vendors to ensure compliance and production readiness.
Establish and maintain file naming, version control, and archival standards for traceability.
