Job summary

Significance Inc. seeks a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to support a long-term federal program with the Department of Energy. This fully remote role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DOE clearance.

You will administer Oracle WebCenter Portal, Hyperion, and core DOE databases, implement SSO/OID/OAM with OneID, and manage Fusion Middleware, data warehousing, and ETL processes while ensuring security, backup, and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline with 8 years of relevant experience in Oracle Federal Financials and Oracle Hyperion.
• Approximately two-thirds of experience must be hands-on as a Database Administrator installing, configuring, and supporting Oracle OID, OAM, and SSO.
• Strong understanding of Oracle databases, utilities, and tools.
• Strong experience with performance tuning and monitoring.
• Knowledge of load balancers, storage, and cloud environments.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server and IIS.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery.
• Understanding of Oracle security management and data integrity.
• Experience with code migration, database change management, and data management throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide database administration support for Oracle WebCenter Portal, DOE Budgeting System, DOE Financial System, and core databases supporting DOE applications.
• Install, configure, and administer Oracle AI DB 26ai in production and development environments.
• Design, set up, and advise on Oracle SSO, OID, and OAM, including integration with DOE OneID.
• Perform Oracle Fusion Middleware installations, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance including WebCenter Portal and WebCenter Content (UCM).
• Support data warehouse environments and ETL processes.
• Recommend and implement database security, backup, recovery, redundancy, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Implement automated monitoring and continuously monitor database storage, availability, performance, and system health.
• Collaborate with CBS and OCIO teams on health checks, QA, performance reviews, architecture, and storage modifications.
• Work independently on performance analysis, capacity planning, sizing, and maintenance.
• Provide break/fix support, resolve production defects, and implement stabilization changes.
• Support remediation of cybersecurity findings.
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and security records.
• Support A&A and ATO activities.
