Job summary

YO AI Labs seeks a Senior Software Engineer with strong open-source contributions to design and evaluate challenging tasks for AI training. You will build reproducible environments and reference solutions for evaluation, working across Python, Java, Rust, C++, Go, and/or TypeScript codebases.

No prior AI experience is required—your software engineering depth and open-source track record matter most for tasks involving debugging, feature development, refactoring, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python 3, Java, Rust, C++, TypeScript.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience fixing bugs and implementing features in large codebases.
• Ability to refactor legacy code and optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Create expert-level software engineering tasks including bug fixing, feature implementation, refactoring and optimization.
• Develop reproducible environments and golden reference solutions for AI evaluation.
• Review and validate technical submissions for quality and accuracy.
• Document reasoning, solutions and code decisions.
