Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead open-source tasks for AI training on a remote contract (~15 hrs/week). You will design and evaluate challenging engineering tasks, build reproducible environments, and provide reference solutions for debugging, feature development, refactoring, and performance optimization.

No prior AI experience is required; strong software engineering skills and proven open-source contributions are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with open-source contributions on GitHub or GitLab.
• Ability to create and evaluate tricky software engineering tasks.
• Strong knowledge of Python, Java, Rust, C++, or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Create expert-level software engineering tasks including bug fixing, feature implementation, refactoring, and optimization.
• Develop reproducible environments and golden reference solutions for AI evaluation.
• Review and validate technical submissions for quality and accuracy.
