Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager/Senior CTM for Oncology on a remote basis in the United States. You will lead regional US trial teams, oversee study planning, execution, and risk mitigation across late-phase oncology trials, coordinating with internal and external partners to ensure timely, compliant delivery and patient-centered trial outcomes.

Role requires extensive clinical trial leadership in oncology, strategic thinking, and the ability to travel 10–20%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field with minimum 6 years in clinical research.
• Master’s degree or PharmD with minimum 4 years in clinical research.
• PharmD with 2-year clinical research fellowship or PhD/MD with 2+ years in clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Oversee trial preparation ensuring compliance with GCP-ICH, local/global regulations and trial protocol.
• Manage trial budgets and financial planning with internal/external partners.
• Coordinate training for internal/external partners per Trial Training Plan.
• Plan timelines, feasibility, site selection, and country-level engagement.
• Lead country-level patient materials and recruitment strategies with stakeholders.
• Monitor trial conduct, quality monitoring, safety reporting and adherence to SOPs.
• Closeout: ensure clean data delivery, TMF archiving, and CTR submission.
