Job summary

Jobgether is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Node & Vue) for a fully remote role based in the United States. You will design and deliver enterprise applications, focusing on backend services with Node.js and frontend Vue.js interfaces, while integrating AI capabilities.

Eligible candidates have extensive experience with GraphQL, Kubernetes, and CI/CD, plus cloud exposure (AWS/GCP/Azure). The position emphasizes architecture, mentoring, and collaboration across product, data, and AI teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong experience developing backend microservices and API architectures (Express/NestJS).
• Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js, especially Vue 3, Composition API, state management.
• Experience integrating AI/ML services or AI-enhanced features (LLMs, embeddings, vector search).
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP and cloud deployments.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience; CI/CD and DevOps familiarity.
• Strong API design (REST/GraphQL) and distributed systems knowledge.
• Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases; strong communication and mentoring skills.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency; able to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern architectural patterns.
• Build intuitive, responsive front-end experiences with Vue.js (Vue 3, Composition API, state management).
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into enterprise applications (LLMs, embeddings, vector search, model inference).
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, observability, and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with product, data, and AI teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
