Job summary

Applied Systems is hiring a Sr. Network Engineer to design, deploy, and run enterprise networks across Google Cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. The role emphasizes automation, IaC, and continuous improvement for a global data-center and cloud footprint.

You will manage VPNs, BGP, firewalls, and load balancers, with hands-on work on F5 BIG-IP LTM and CI/CD pipelines. Remote North America, with on-call rotation and strong documentation culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS networking, GCP networking, and Cloudflare.
• Hands-on with Terraform, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across GCP, on-premises, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Manage cloud networking technologies including VPCs, VPNs, routing, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, and IP address management.
• Administer and troubleshoot BGP routing, site-to-site VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Support and maintain F5 BIG-IP load balancing platforms and related application delivery services.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and network automation solutions using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Ansible.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure network solutions.
