Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to design and implement advanced authentication features for enterprise mobile apps. You will work with security, identity management, and platform teams to deliver secure, scalable iOS solutions using Swift, SwiftUI, and modern authentication standards.

The role requires onsite work in the Phoenix, Arizona area five days a week, with flexibility based on business needs. Strong IAM, mobile security, and Ping Identity experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing FIDO2 and passwordless authentication solutions.
• Expert-level experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, and the Apple Developer Ecosystem.
• Strong experience integrating REST APIs, OAuth APIs, JSON processing, and secure networking.
• Experience designing mobile architectures using MVVM, Clean Architecture, DI, and modular design.
• Deep understanding of mobile security and passwordless technologies.
• Experience integrating authentication solutions with Ping Identity products (PingFederate, PingOne, PingID).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop native iOS applications and authentication capabilities.
• Implement modern authentication technologies including FIDO2, WebAuthn, Passkeys, biometrics, and security keys.
• Integrate enterprise apps with Ping Identity ecosystem (PingFederate, PingOne, PingID).
• Build secure REST API integrations and certificate-based communications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable mobile architectures.
