Fetch is building the future of personalized consumer experiences. We’re seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead a high-impact ML team focused on personalization, relevance, and ranking.

You will own the technical direction for ML systems, drive architecture, and stay hands-on in design and development. You’ll collaborate with product, data, and engineering partners to deliver measurable business impact at scale.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building production ML systems at scale.
• Experience in personalization, relevance, search, or ad tech domains.
• Strong distributed systems, data pipelines, and ML infrastructure expertise.
• Experience deploying ML models to production and operating them at scale.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for a single ML-focused team, setting direction and engineering standards.
• Design and scale ML systems for personalization, ranking, search, or ads.
• Own end-to-end architecture for services including training, deployment, and serving.
• Translate product needs into scalable technical solutions and tradeoffs.
• Lead design reviews and manage latency, reliability, experimentation, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering stakeholders to deliver business impact.
• Mentor engineers through hands-on guidance and code reviews.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and design validation.
