Fetch is seeking a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to design, scale, and evolve the intelligent systems powering personalization, relevance, and ranking across our platform. You will build ML infrastructure and real-time learning pipelines that serve millions of users.

Operating at the intersection of ML infrastructure and distributed systems, you will collaborate with Product, Data Science, Platform, and Engineering teams to set architectural standards and ensure our systems become smarter

Qualifications

• Proven experience scaling ML infrastructure for personalization, relevance, or ad tech.
• Hands-on expertise with data pipelines, distributed systems, and ML platforms.
• Experience in a consumer product company with ML at scale.
• Strong leadership & mentoring of engineers; ability to drive architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve ML infrastructure for personalization, search, ranking, and ad tech.
• Lead real-time learning and data pipelines with low latency and high throughput.
• Advance ML platform tooling, model serving, and feature infrastructure.
• Partner with product/engineering to translate tradeoffs into measurable outcomes.
• Scale experimentation, learning systems, and AI-assisted development.
• Mentor senior engineers and promote architectural clarity and reusability.
