Job summary

Censys is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build models and data‑driven systems that classify and enrich vast Internet data. You will contribute to our distributed infrastructure for Internet scanning and help transform raw telemetry into high‑quality datasets and insights.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, design applied ML workflows, and work on feature pipelines, datasets, and model evaluation frameworks, in a remote US setting with equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, ML engineering, or software with applied ML responsibilities.
• Experience building and deploying ML or statistical models in production.
• Experience programming in Go/Python and building maintainable systems.
• Experience with large datasets and feature pipelines for training or inference.
• Proficiency with supervised/unsupervised learning and model evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve machine learning models and data‑driven systems that classify, cluster, label, and enrich Internet‑observed assets and services.
• Own the design and development of applied ML workflows for internal systems and customer‑facing products.
• Partner with engineering, research, security, and product teams to ensure correct models and feedback loops.
• Leverage experience to build components like feature pipelines, training datasets, evaluation frameworks, and cloud/on‑prem services.
