Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Manager, Medicare Compliance Advisory to serve as a subject matter expert and individual contributor in supporting the day-to-day execution of the Medicare Compliance Advisory program. You will interpret CMS requirements and provide regulatory guidance to business stakeholders while contributing to audit readiness and regulatory filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, public health, policy) or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years Compliance, regulatory, operations, or risk management within a regulated industry.
• ~4+ years Compliance advisory experience including regulatory research and drafting guidance, risk assessment, issue tracking, auditing/monitoring, and corrective actions.
• ~2+ years experience supporting managed care, Medicare Advantage/Part D, or DSNP programs.
• ~Foundational knowledge of Medicare regulations, CMS guidance, and compliance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Medicare Compliance Program in alignment with CMS and state regulations.
• Interpret federal, state, and contractual requirements into actionable compliance guidance for business stakeholders.
• Support audit readiness, regulatory reports, attestations, and filings.
• Identify compliance risks, evaluate processes, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Lead/root-cause analysis and corrective actions for identified gaps.
• Provide SME support for audits, monitoring, and regulatory reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure coordinated compliance activities across business areas.
