Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Healthcare Claims Test Lead to drive testing initiatives for Medicare claims and healthcare payment solutions. You will independently manage test planning, execution, defect management, and delivery across the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with analysts, developers, and upstream teams to ensure compliant claims processing, test CMS-driven pricing changes, and maintain strong Medicare claims testing expertise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years healthcare payer domain expertise
• Hands-on with HRP, ClaimXten, and Cotiviti
• Strong Medicare claims testing experience
• Test management experience leading testing activities end-to-end
• Defect management and root cause analysis of complex claims issues

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing for Medicare claims and payment solutions
• Manage test planning, execution, and defect management across the project lifecycle
• Drive project-level testing delivery and risk mitigation
• Validate claims-processing behavior, reimbursement accuracy, and payment outcomes
• Support testing of CMS-driven pricing changes and release variances
