Job summary

Sargent & Lundy Consulting (SLC) is a remote/virtual position open to candidates based anywhere within the United States. The role supports development, conceptual design, and owner’s engineer services for electric power projects, with opportunities to perform economic analyses and risk assessments.

Essentially, candidates should have a BSME with ABET accreditation and 10+ years in the electric power industry, including mechanical design of conventional power systems, and strong technical

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BSME in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology.
• 10+ years in the electric power industry with detailed design of mechanical systems for conventional power projects.
• Excellent technical communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide development support, conceptual design and owner’s engineer services for clients.
• Perform technical evaluations of electric power generation projects and facilities.
• Support project economic/cost analysis, risk assessments, and contract development.
• Engine ering design reviews and technical due diligence; provide project development support and conceptual design.
• Willingness to travel within the United States and internationally.
