Job summary

Remotebridge seeks an experienced Chief Engineer or Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead an AI training project focused on real-world engineering workflows. You will design realistic projects, coordinate domain experts, and set objectives and evaluation criteria.

Candidates should bring substantial leadership experience across mechanical design, analysis, and validation, with strong CAD/analysis tool proficiency. This is a remote contractor role, US-based preferred, worldwide considered.

Qualifications

• Substantial leadership experience as Chief Engineer or Senior Mechanical Engineer.
• Proven ability to lead complex multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
• Strong expertise in mechanical design, analysis, DFM/DFMA, and verification through testing.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic engineering projects involving mechanical design, analysis, manufacturing, and testing with cross-disciplinary input.
• Translate objectives into clear design requirements, constraints and acceptance criteria.
• Break down complex problems into tasks with inputs, outputs, dependencies and responsibilities.
