Job summary

Remotebridge is seeking a Mechanical CAD Expert contractor to support a customer project focused on advanced engineering assemblies. You will analyze native CAD data, especially FreeCAD, and contribute to training AI systems with precise, real-world input.

You will generate structured questions and answers, ensure technical accuracy, format for clarity, and collaborate with a distributed team to deliver high-quality results on schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven background in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design.
• Strong foundational and applied CAD knowledge.
• Familiarity with FreeCAD is advantageous; experience with other CAD platforms is valuable.
• Demonstrated ability to author clear, precise technical documentation or assessment materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for varied audiences.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Analyze multi-part mechanical assemblies provided in native FreeCAD files to understand component relationships and design intent.
• Develop objective, precise question-and-answer sets for each assembly with technical accuracy.
• Create several detailed technical questions per assembly covering functions, design rationale, and dimensional considerations.
• Format questions and answers to be unambiguous and aligned with real-world engineering standards.
• Submit high-quality deliverables within project parameters and communicate with project coordinators.
• Clarify ambiguities and collaborate effectively within a distributed team.
