Job summary

Niyam IT, a federal contractor based in the United States, seeks a Senior Technical Consultant to lead IBM Maximo EAM configuration, implementation, and optimization across maintenance, operations, inventory, procurement, and work management.

The ideal candidate has deep Maximo expertise, hands-on experience with MAS and MIF, and can translate business requirements into scalable configurations while partnering with stakeholders and guiding junior team members.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of IBM Maximo implementation and configuration experience.
• Strong experience configuring Maximo 7.6.x and/or MAS.
• Must be able to convert functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience with: Java, WebSphere, XML, PL SQL, Maximo automation scripts, BIRT.
• Working knowledge of Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), integrations, APIs (REST/JSON).
• Experience supporting full software implementation lifecycles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for IBM Maximo, including configuration and deployment.
• Design and configure business processes, workflows, and automation scripts.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into Maximo configurations.
• Configure screens, KPIs, queries, and dashboards to meet needs.
• Support data migration, validation, and system integration.
• Collaborate with developers on integrations using MIF and REST APIs.
• Support UAT and troubleshoot configuration issues.
