Job summary

Kindle Energy LLC seeks a Senior Manager of Business Development to drive a pipeline of natural gas power plant development projects. You will partner across origination, engineering, procurement, legal, and environmental teams to move initiatives from concept through execution.

The role is remote and open to candidates in multiple states; travel up to 50% is required to support development efforts, with a focus on delivering risk-adjusted opportunities and clear investment theses for senior

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of relevant work experience in energy or power generation development.
• Bachelor's degree required; preferred coursework in business, legal, or technical fields.
• Self-starter, proactive in a lean, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills with team members and external counterparties.
• Advanced data analytics and presentation skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead project development efforts across origination, engineering, procurement, legal and environmental teams from concept to execution.
• Manage external relationships with landowners, offtakers, partners, vendors, and community leaders.
• Lead analyses, structuring, negotiations, and legal drafting for complex power plant transactions.
• Evaluate projects, perform due diligence, and present investment cases to senior leadership.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs for new natural gas projects with cross-functional coordination.
• Develop and present business cases, markets, and growth opportunities to leadership.
• Own materials quality for board presentations, financial models, and investment memos.
• Develop budgets for project development and coordinate with FP&A teams.
• Onboard vendors, establish purchase orders, and execute NDAs per company protocols.
• Track deadlines, milestones, risks, and drive issues to closure.
