Job summary

Bollinger Shipyards is seeking a Senior Manager Data Governance & Value Realization to establish enterprise-wide governance, stewardship, and data quality programs. You will partner with IT and business units to ensure trusted data, secure practices, and measurable business value through governance initiatives.

The role demands 8+ years in data governance with leadership experience, and a track record of implementing governance programs at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 8+ years in data governance/related disciplines.
• 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience implementing enterprise data governance at scale.
• Strong knowledge of data quality, metadata, master data, stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the enterprise data governance framework and roadmap.
• Define policies for data quality, stewardship, metadata, and lifecycle management.
• Lead data ownership and stewardship across business domains.
• Drive data quality initiatives, monitoring and remediation processes.
• Oversee data cataloging, metadata management, and business glossary adoption.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and cybersecurity requirements (ITAR, NIST).
• Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Analytics, and AI teams to embed governance.
• Establish governance metrics and reporting to show adoption and value.
