Ollie, a nationwide provider of human-grade pet meals, is hiring a Senior Manager, Contract Manufacturing to be the operational bridge between Ollie and our manufacturing partners. You will ensure our fresh recipes are produced safely, efficiently, and at scale, while aligning inventory, procurement, quality, and engineering on key initiatives.

This remote U.S. role reports to the Vice President, Supply Chain, travels 25–30% for visits and onboarding, and focuses on contract negotiations, KPI

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in contract manufacturing, co-pack management, or plant operations within the food or pet food industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
• Proven track record of identifying, negotiating terms with, and onboarding new manufacturing partners.
• Experience managing manufacturing capacity, production planning, and manufacturing partner performance against operational KPIs.
• Strong communicator who can align cross-functional teams with external plant management.
• Strong technical understanding of food safety, HACCP, and human-grade food manufacturing processes.
• Analytical problem solver proficient with ERP systems, supply planning, and yield metrics.
• Willing to travel 25-30% for plant visits, audits, and onboarding initiatives.
• Experience in pet food manufacturing or fast-paced DTC brand is strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage strategic relationship and daily operations at Co-Man sites.
• Contract negotiations and KPI measurement.
• Regular performance reviews and process improvements.
• Bridge priorities across procurement, inventory, quality and engineering with manufacturing partners.
• Ensure inventory availability and production capacity aligned with growth.
• Partner with QA to maintain food safety and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and onboard new contract manufacturing facilities.
• Collaborate with engineering on line scaling and throughput improvements.
• Oversee unit economics, standard costs, price variances and vendor contracts.
• Lead commercialization project scope, timelines and budgets.
• Establish, track and report core manufacturing KPIs.
