Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Senior Manager, Clinical Data Enablement to lead end-to-end clinical data pipelines across cloud-based data lake and warehouse environments. You will drive ingestion, transformation and delivery, partnering with stakeholders and vendors to ensure compliant, timely data products for downstream teams.

The role requires 6+ years in data engineering, strong SQL and data modeling, and cloud experience (AWS/Azure) with platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.

Qualifications

• BS/BA (or equivalent) in a quantitative field and 6+ years in data engineering, pipelines, and multi-source data integration.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and data quality controls; knowledge of NoSQL and integration patterns.
• Proficiency in Python (preferred) or R; experience building production pipelines with testing, logging and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end clinical data pipelines across lake/warehouse environments.
• Monitor, run, maintain and troubleshoot pipelines to ensure stable, performant operations.
• Build and scale cloud ETL/ELT capabilities (AWS/Azure) for ingestion, transformation and delivery.
• Automate integrations and run operations with scheduling, quality checks, and metadata handling.
• Partner with vendors and cross-functional teams to define data transfer specs and integration patterns.
• Serve as an SME for structured and unstructured data integration and drive improvements.
