Job summary

Maryland Department of Human Services, Social Services Administration, seeks a principal administrator and technical architect to lead the statewide virtual learning infrastructure and professional development delivery. Qualifications

• Six years of administrative staff or professional work.
• 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute for each year up to four years of the required experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative staff or professional work may substitute for the required experience.
• Master's degree from an accredited college or university may substitute five years of the required experience.
• U.S. Armed Forces commissioned officer experience may substitute year-for-year for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the statewide Principal Administrator and technical architect for SSA's virtual learning infrastructure, including Google Meet, Zoom, MS Teams, and the LMS.
• Establish unified standards, scheduling protocols, and QA frameworks to optimize virtual training delivery and classroom management.
• Drive alignment of workforce curricula with federal compliance mandates and modernization of blended instructional methods.
• Direct contract monitoring and oversee multimillion-dollar academic partnerships, including the Child Welfare Academy with UM School of Social Work and Title IV-E initiatives.
• Analyze workforce data and create executive briefs, legislative reports, and federal compliance submissions.
