Ideal candidates have at least five years of experience as a legal assistant in a paperless environment, strong knowledge of California court procedures, and proven ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks with precision.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years as a Legal Assistant in a paperless insurance defense setting preferred.
• Tort experience in personal injury required.
• Trial preparation experience a plus.
• Experience in high-volume litigation with document production and discovery prep.
• Strong knowledge of California court systems and court rules.
• Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with case management software and MS Office.

Aufgaben

• Prepare, e-file and serve correspondence, briefs, motions, and pleadings for CA and federal courts.
• Keep attorney calendars current based on court notifications and depositions.
• Assist attorneys in trial preparation.
• Review electronic mail daily.
• Maintain electronic legal files and manage document handling.
• Process invoices for payment.
• Provide professional diplomacy with clients, counsel, and staff.
• Support the office with general tasks like file handling and data management.
