Job summary

Wedding Weekender is seeking a Senior Manager of Post-Production to lead the editing team and scalable quality standards for wedding films. You will own quality, performance, and development across internal staff and a freelance network, with audits and data informing coaching and process improvements.

You'll ensure timely delivery, onboard new editors, and build systems that scale as the department grows, maintaining high creative polish for a growing nationwide wedding brand.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing/post-production experience.
• Experience leading and managing a post-production/creative team.
• Experience training and providing ongoing feedback to editors.
• Strong creative judgment and ability to articulate why an edit is or isn't working.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal post-production team and freelance editor network.
• Set clear responsibilities, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Hold regular 1:1s with direct reports; provide coaching and development.
• Develop editors and delegate ownership as the department grows.
• Identify and address performance issues proactively.
• Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Own overall department performance including quality, turnaround time, capacity, and delivery.
