Moonlite delivers high-performance AI infrastructure enabling research teams and enterprises to run intensive workloads. This role focuses on building production-grade Kubernetes infrastructure on bare-metal, with expertise spanning control plane, CRDs, networking, and GPU integration.

You will automate and scale the platform across multiple regions, ensuring reliability, observability, and efficient resource management for demanding AI workloads.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infra roles operating production infrastructure at scale.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience—cluster bootstrapping, control plane, etcd, and scaling.
• Strong understanding of CRDs, operators, controllers, admission webhooks, and storage/networking integrations.

Aufgaben

• Kubernetes Infrastructure Engineering: design, build, and operate production Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal infrastructure.
• Kubernetes Networking & CNIs: implement custom networking with SR-IOV for GPU interconnects, multi-tenancy, policies.
• Custom Operators & Controllers: develop and maintain operators for bare-metal provisioning and lifecycle management.
• GPU Infrastructure Integration: deploy and optimize NVIDIA GPU operators and device plugins.
• Platform Integration & Storage: integrate Kubernetes with CSI drivers and storage, admission controllers.
• Infrastructure Automation: use Terraform, Ansible, Helm and custom operators to automate workflows.
• Production Operations & Reliability: manage multi-region bare-metal infra with SLIs/SLOs and monitoring.
• Observability & Incident Response: implement Prometheus/Grafana/ELK, lead postmortems and MTTR reduction.
• Performance & Capacity Planning: monitor trends, forecast capacity, optimize resource allocation.
