Job summary

DMI is seeking a Senior Consultant to support the OCIO of a legislative customer, leading refresh and revision of its five-year Directional Plan and Roadmap. You will own the project from initiation to closure, applying expert IT strategic planning, organizational analysis, and facilitation to deliver actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities include managing the work plan, stakeholder planning sessions, and producing formal deliverables and reports for federal civilian agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with experience briefing senior government executives.
• Expert knowledge of IT strategic and directional planning and performance measurement.
• Experience leading participative planning with senior leadership and cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing management of the project work plan with milestones and resources.
• Prepare weekly status reports covering progress, risks, and obstacles.
• Design and facilitate planning sessions for OCIO senior management and cross-OCIO groups.
• Develop session guides with objectives, agendas, and materials.
• Produce directional and functional analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Revise the OCIO Directional Plan with goals, updated mission, and measures.
• Develop communications materials, including memoranda and presentations.
• Create the OCIO five-year Roadmap with priorities and responsibilities.
• Maintain version-controlled documentation in a shared repository.
