Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Senior IT Specialist to lead Power BI development and data analysis for the Northeast EDI team. This remote role offers full-time employment with a preference for candidates near Raritan, NJ who can attend occasional onsite meetings.

Responsibilities include designing and optimizing Power BI reports, integrating SQL/REST data sources, QA of reporting outputs, and delivering end-user training. Strong collaboration across stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT, HIM, or healthcare-related field.
• 2+ years' experience with Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, VBA, SQL, DAX, and Power Query.
• 2+ years' experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Analyze data reports and system outputs to identify performance trends and potential issues.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and third-party vendors to resolve interface and workflow challenges.
• Maintain and enhance existing EDI client configurations as needed.
• Provide quality assurance for internal and external reporting outputs.
• Manage the commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
• Support the development of new reports and data analyses.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize workflow efficiency.
• Monitor updates to source data systems and assess their impact on existing workflows and reports.
• Deliver training to end users on new reports and data processes.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Act as an escalation point for complex issues, working closely with departmental leadership.
