Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager to support a high-priority DHS OCIO data analytics and BI initiative.

You will guide a cross-functional team of data scientists, data engineers, developers, and staff to deliver critical federal capabilities while maintaining budgets and schedules. The ideal candidate excels in communication, is detail-oriented, and can manage multiple high-priority responsibilities in a fast-paced federal environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT/technology project management experience.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience managing data science, analytics, and data management teams.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence Atlassian suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership skills.
• Understanding of SDLC and PM methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects from planning/ideation through deployment/implementation.
• Facilitating weekly working group meetings with senior Federal staff to align project progress across stakeholders.
• Developing and managing relationships with federal stakeholders to ensure progress on initiatives.
• Resolving blockers and aligning cross-functional teams around project goals and technical requirements.
• Maintaining a project roadmap.
• Managing schedules, resources, risks, priorities, and activities.
