Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join a remote-ready internal audit team. The role conducts risk-based audits across the business, supports planning, fieldwork, reporting, and assurance activities, and liaises with management to improve controls and efficiency.

Travel up to 35% (including Canada) is required; location flexible within the U.S. and hybrid options at Newport News, VA HQ are possible.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area; Advanced degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

Integrates IPPF components into audit engagements to ensure conformance with mandatory requirements and leading practices.
Develops and implements the audit program, communicates objectives and scope, documents walkthroughs, develops analytical procedures and testing, gathers evidence.
Drafts engagement findings and assists with drafting reports and distributing results to management.
Presents findings in close meetings with stakeholders and leads audit engagements.
Evaluates fraud risk assessment processes and controls, identifies discrepancies and discusses root causes with management.
