Job summary

EdgeConneX seeks a Senior Integration Engineer to build and maintain the enterprise integration fabric connecting ERP, HRIS, FinOps tools, ITSM, and EdgeOS platforms.

The role emphasizes secure, scalable data flows, API integrations (REST/SOAP), and automation across cloud environments. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and governance of data pipelines are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of real impact in enterprise integration engineering or related technical role.
• 2+ years experience with iPaaS or middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, UiPath, Workato). MuleSoft preferred.
• Hands-on designing REST and SOAP API integrations across heterogeneous systems.
• Experience integrating ERP, HRIS, ITSM, FinOps in a multi-cloud environment.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash.
• Knowledge of ETL patterns, event-driven architectures, and message queues.
• Understanding of data security and zero-trust integration.
• Ability to translate business requirements into documented designs.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT.

Responsibilities

• Build and support integrations across EdgeConneX’s enterprise systems portfolio including ERP, HRIS, FinOps tooling, ITSM, and EdgeOS apps.
• Build, test, and deploy MuleSoft APIs, flows and transformations.
• Design scalable, secure data flows using REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven patterns, ETL pipelines, and middleware.
• Establish integration standards, reusable patterns, and governance to prevent sprawl.
• Evaluate and select iPaaS platforms and middleware for a multi-cloud environment.
• Enable master data management by connecting the MDM platform to apps.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT to translate requirements into designs.
• Develop automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for data transfers.
• Build and govern CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
• Maintain documentation: data dictionaries, flow diagrams, data lineage, API contracts.
• Lay groundwork for AI/ML apps using existing data.
