Job summary

WAHVE is seeking a Senior Operations Business Analyst to apply extensive insurance experience from a home-based setting. You will support carrier or MGA clients while maintaining a flexible, full- or part-time schedule and benefiting from our remote, long-term engagement.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience.
• 10 recent years of insurance industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with various operational areas such as underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, information technology, etc.
• Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to technicians.
• Become proficient in managing multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout the policy life cycle which could include rating/pricing, quoting, and issuing policies as well as handling related account activity.
• Participate and understand the development of operational KPI’s and service standards.
• Process transactions and follow varied workflows dependent upon line of business, company, state, specific rules, and regulations.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding how to prepare data submissions to rating bureaus and state departments of insurance.
