Job summary

DaMar Staffing seeks an RN with coding audit expertise to lead inpatient coding quality initiatives. You will design audits, review medical necessity, and build hands-on training for clinical staff. The role centers on improved accuracy, compliance, and education across a managed care population.

Travel to New York twice yearly is required; remote work with on-site touchpoints is supported as needed. Strong communication and leadership will drive program success.

Qualifications

• RN with active state license and Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• 4 years nursing training or auditing in managed care.
• Inpatient coding audit experience with CPC/CIC/CCS credentials.
• 1 year inpatient clinical experience and strong written skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute inpatient coding audit processes.
• Conduct inpatient coding audits and review medical necessity against guidelines.
• Design and deliver clinical coding education and training programs.
• Identify training gaps and recommend targeted education solutions.
• Partner with staff to resolve audit findings and improve coding accuracy.
• Present audit results, trends and recommendations to leadership.
• Maintain training records and documentation.
• Support updates to policies, procedures and workflows.
• Travel to New York twice per year for onsite meetings.
