Job summary

Allianz Commercial is seeking a Senior Underwriter for its Inland Marine line of business. This remote role requires candidates to reside in North or South Carolina. You will underwrite complex marine products, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong relationships with brokers.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to evaluate risks. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred along with the capability to use AI tools for enhanced task management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years proven track record in underwriting inland marine business.
• Good understanding of regional inland marine markets.
• Well versed in various inland marine products.
• Ability to assess risk exposures and manage underwriting books.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewable accounts to meet targets.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with brokers.
• Support development of regional underwriting strategy.
• Manage relationships with brokers and clients.
