Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior CyberSecurity Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise Identity Security solutions across a healthcare environment. The role emphasizes secure identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, access governance, and HIPAA compliance.

You will work with SailPoint ISC, Okta, AD, and Entra ID to support cloud and clinical applications, building JML, provisioning, RBAC, SSO, MFA, and entitlement governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/IT/cybersecurity or related field.
• Strong experience in Identity Security, IAM, or cybersecurity engineering.
• Hands-on experience with SailPoint ISC, Okta, AD, and/or Entra ID.
• Knowledge of identity lifecycle management, access governance, RBAC, SSO, MFA, and federation.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and support Identity Security solutions using SailPoint ISC, Okta, AD, and Entra ID.
• Design and implement JML, provisioning/deprovisioning, access certification, RBAC, SSO, MFA, federation, and entitlement governance.
• Integrate enterprise and clinical applications using SAML, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM, and REST APIs.
• Apply least privilege and Zero Trust principles across workforce, partner, vendor identities.
• Automate identity processes to improve reliability, scalability, and auditability of access controls.
• Troubleshoot provisioning, directory, authentication, and access issues across platforms.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to establish secure identity patterns and meet HIPAA controls.
• Support regulatory and audit requirements for HIPAA and PHI protection.
• Provide senior-level technical leadership, engineering standards, design reviews, and mentoring.
