Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives across our operations. This remote role provides strategic direction and oversight to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices in the Oil & Gas sector.

You will develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies, foster a strong safety culture, and drive continual improvement in environmental performance and occupational health, nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HSE management, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing effective HSE programs and policies.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and incident investigation techniques.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working remotely and managing teams across different locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the HSE management system .
• Ensure compliance with all applicable national and international HSE regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees at all levels.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of preventative measures.
• Promote a positive and proactive HSE culture throughout the organization.
• Manage environmental aspects, including waste management, emissions, and regulatory reporting.
