Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to translate vendor specs into detailed data mappings and support enterprise data workflows. The role is fully remote and involves collaborating with business, vendors, and IT to ensure accurate data integration and delivery.

You will apply advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Databricks skills to validate data; support QA/UAT and post-deployment validation; and communicate findings to stakeholders across clinical, finance, and operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years in data analysis, data mapping, ETL, data warehouse.
• Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI and Databricks skills.
• Experience creating source-to-target mapping documentation.
• Ability to interpret data dictionaries and file specifications.
• Experience with healthcare/ payer data domains.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate vendor specs into detailed data mapping docs.
• Serve as liaison among business, vendors, and technical teams.
• Ensure data is integrated, transformed, and delivered per rules.
• Support data quality and data stewardship activities.
• Participate in QA, UAT, and post-deployment validation.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders clearly.
