Job summary

Machinify is recruiting a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to transform raw claims feeds into canonical models, enabling payment integrity insights and AI-assisted analytics. You will bridge healthcare domain expertise with data engineering to deliver scalable solutions and client-ready transformations.

You’ll own data quality, platform knowledge, and collaboration with engineers, clinicians, and product teams, mentoring analysts and shaping risk and business impact through payer policy insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working directly with healthcare claims data.
• Deep knowledge of claim types (professional/institutional) and standard forms.
• Hands-on payment integrity experience (overpayment detection, COB, edits).
• Familiarity with CMS regulations and payer guidelines.
• Advanced SQL proficiency for complex analytical queries.
• Strong data modeling understanding for analytics.
• Excellent communication with health plan clients and stakeholders.
• Self-starter with accountability and ability to manage multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Translate raw claims data into canonical models and apply coding standards.
• Audit data quality and validate pipelines end-to-end with SQL/Spark SQL.
• Develop platform expertise from ingestion to adjudication for accurate analytics.
• Identify overpayment patterns and payer policy implications.
• Drive AI-assisted workflows and partner with data engineers and scientists.
• Support onboarding of client data feeds and document transformation logic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Provide subject-matter leadership on claims coding and payment rules.
