Job summary

Roo is a remote-first company connecting veterinary professionals with animal hospitals for relief work and hiring opportunities. The Growth team partners with the VP of Data to define objectives, measure impact, and size opportunities, driving data-driven workflows and trusted experiments across major product initiatives.

The role reports to the Head of Growth and requires occasional on-site presence in San Francisco for meetings and team events, while primarily operating remotely.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience running ad hoc investigations on datasets using SQL leading to actionable insights.
• Strong understanding of marketplace metrics and ecosystem dynamics; 5+ years in product or analytics at a fast-growing marketplace startup.
• Ability to express relationships with mathematical equations.
• Always seek simplicity over unnecessary complexity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain complex topics clearly.
• Strong leadership and emotional intelligence to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Head of Product and initiative leads to set and monitor objectives and core metrics for product initiatives.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor progress of cross-functional workstreams.
• Collaborate with Go To Market to measure impact of levers and opportunities.
• Translate insights into clear execution directions for product teams.
• Size new opportunities with Head of Product and help size initiatives.
